The Role
We’re seeking a decisive and experienced CFO who thrives in early-stage, fast-paced environments. This is a strategic leadership role with full ownership of our financial operations — guiding decisions around growth, hiring, capital allocation, and investor relations.
You will oversee the stewardship of our recently raised seed round, establish foundational financial systems and processes, and serve as a key advisor to the CEO and board as we scale.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Forecasting
Design and maintain robust financial models to project revenue growth, operating expenses, burn rate, and multiple business scenarios.
Budget Development & Oversight
Lead the development and management of annual budgets, departmental allocations, hiring plans, and capital deployment strategies.
Cash Flow & Runway Management
Own short- and long-term cash flow forecasting, optimize vendor payment cycles, and ensure financial stability across all stages of growth.
Investor & Board Reporting
Prepare clear, accurate, and timely financial reports for investors, board meetings, and internal stakeholders. Drive data-informed strategic decision-making.
Accounting & Compliance Leadership
Coordinate with external accountants and legal counsel to ensure full compliance with tax regulations, GAAP standards, and audit readiness. Oversee accurate and timely bookkeeping and reporting.
Fundraising Support
Partner with the executive team on fundraising strategy. Lead the preparation of data rooms, financial documents, and due diligence materials for our future Series A round.
Ideal Candidate Profile
→ Proven track record as a CFO, VP of Finance, or Head of Finance in a fast-growing, early-stage startup
→ Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, venture-backed capital strategy, and startup financial operations.
→ Demonstrated ability to build and lead finance functions from the ground up
→ Experience managing budgets of $10M+, ideally across cross-functional and globally distributed teams
