North Bay news: Police say suspect broke into a cannabis store
A 34-year-old man from Burks Falls has been charged after someone broke into a pot store in North Bay last weekend.

The incident took place around 7 a.m. on Jan. 25, North Bay police said in a news release Wednesday.

“The accused attended a cannabis store on Main Street East,” police said.

“The accused broke an exterior glass window to gain entry to the store, at which point a witness contacted police.”

The total value of the damage to the store and stolen cannabis totalled about $1,400.

“Police located the accused a short time later at which point he was arrested,” the release said.

He has been charged with one count of break-and-enter and was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
